Exploring the Sacred
Beholding the Sacred
Bringing the Sacred into the World
One of man and woman’s first descriptions of God imagines God as craftsman.
In Genesis God creates. God is methodical, generative, artistic, thoughtful, and imaginative.
God is the Creator Craftsman.
Humans through the centuries have followed in imitation of God and adopted the trade of craftsman creating
beautiful pieces that awaken our senses and stir something within.
The noblest of craftsmanship is that which is dedicated to bringing the sacred into our midst.
It is art that is both tangible and spiritual.
This site is dedicated to the men and women who, through their work, connect us to the Master Craftsman
and to those who allow themselves to be touched by the divine–those who admire architecture, sculpture,
music, paintings, stained glass–all those mediums specially created to serve a higher purpose.
This site is for those who walk the way of beauty,
appreciate this art in all its forms, and can simply stand before it and behold the sacred.
Art is elemental.
Reason alone as it's expressed in the sciences can't be man's complete answer to reality, and it can't express everything that man can, wants to, and has to express. I think God built this into man. Art along with science is the highest gift God has given him. – Pope Benedict XVI
