Exploring the Sacred
Beholding the Sacred
– Raymond Uribe —
Raymond's interest in Sacred Art began when he was a child in his home parish of Saint Boniface in Anaheim, CA. The stained glass, statues, mosaics, and metal work captivated his interest. Raymond's interest grew as he began to understand the symbolism and meaning in Sacred Art.
As a seminary student at Saint John's in Camarillo, CA, he devoted time to researching the history and styles of sacred art. The beautiful sacred art of the College and Theologate chapels further nurtured Raymond's interest.
Through the years he has continued to research artists and craft houses. Stained glass is one of his favorite mediums. When he travels, he can never pass up the opportunity to stop by a church, especially one he has not visited before.
